Filter configuration records associated with site contact

Often, the site contact for a company is associated by default with many of their configurations so when recording a new ticket, they get a laundry list of configs to report a problem on. Would it be possible to limit or modify this functionality for site contacts so they are not bombarded with a lot of not relevant configs?
