It would be great if Channels could be placed in collapsible folders.
Here is my use case:
Some of our managers have to oversee multiple boards.
Each board usually has quite a few channels already.
Having all the channels listed at once is a bit hectic and hard to follow.
It would be nice to be able to divide them into collapsible folders so that you can view a specific subset when needed.

Inbox Teams is now available in GA!
Inbox Teams provide a structured way to organize team members and manage which Views they can access. Teams let you group people once and assign Views at the team level, reducing the need to manually update View access as your organization changes.
Included in Inbox Teams is the ability to group Views within a Team.

this would be very convenient for us as the number of channels on the side bar is getting stuffy
